As someone who has suffered recently with herniated discs in my neck I know very well the intense pain and prolonged recovery that accompanies this injury. I am resigned to the fact that this type of injury is not something that will go away completely and even as I recover I am faced with the very real possibility that I could relapse at anytime. The idea that at sometime in the future I could simply have those disks replaced is amazing.

This is an interesting topic for email marketers and one that requires some discipline to manage especially when someone asks you why the list growth is not more impressive.

I like that the content here is organized into elements of page/site design and that there is a section (all be it just one section) on email design. I would like to see some more about email design and maybe even some code examples but for now this gives me some good ideas.

I know that at my organization there seems to be a reluctance to invest in what could be viewed by others as a vanity purchase - “oh here go those marketing guys buying iPads just because they are cool [that’s the iPad not the marketers]”.
As someone who works in the e-marketing space (email, web and social media) you would think that the ability to interact with the web and see content as my target audience does would be a no-brainer - apparently not (Yes I am bitter).
The simple fact is that more and more companies of all sizes and consumers of all types are seeing the advantage of tablet computing; If Amazon, Apple and Microsoft are all competing in the cloud then isn’t it time the rest of us paid attention.
So watch out Lando Calrissian - I am headed to cloud city, iPad in-hand to wage war on the evil empire (that’s Microsoft). That is when I can convince my boss that he should pay for one for me.
